Duncan Jones won himself a lot of fans with his independent sci-fi movie Moon, and those fans are really curious to see what his next movie, Source Code, is going to look like. Well, here's your first grainy glimpse of the film, courtesy of a scanned image from an upcoming issue of Empire magazine that's making its way around the Internet.

Ridley Scott has dropped some more details about the two Alien prequels he's working on, and so far we're liking what we hear. We'll, he did say something about "gods and engineers" that we're not quite sure what to make of, but the gist of his newest comments seems really promising.

Whoa! Coming Soon unearthed a trove of concept art by comic artist Jock and Andy Diggle for Peter Berg's Dune movie that will never be. Pierre Morel took over as director after Berg left the project, and Morel's going to do his own thing, so sadly this gorgeous art will go unused.

Smallville has been on the air since 2001, making it the longest-running comic-book series in television history. And now there's just one season left, which debuts Sept. 24 at 8/7c on The CW. To get viewers primed for the fateful and final 10th season, CW just released this (very) long recap of what's happened up to this point and, more importantly, what's going to happen when the show returns.

Neil Gaiman's landmark literary comic series The Sandman is being developed by Warner Bros. as a TV series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. That's the good news. The bad news is, Neil isn't actually working on it.

Gravity was going to be a big 3-D sci-fi film billed as Cast Away in space, with Angelina Jolie playing the Tom Hanks bit (no word on what would Wilson would be made from). The problem is, Angelina doesn't actually want to be in the film, and now Gravity might never get made.

This was first announced back in March, but today Syfy said production is going to start next week on its 4-hour Peter Pan prequel called Neverland. It's being written and directed by Nick Willing, who worked on Syfy's Tin Man and Alice, which were reimaginings of The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland.

It's a movie that probably nobody should be fighting over in any way, but the producer of Piranha 3D is really really upset with James Cameron for calling his film "exactly an example of what we should not be doing in 3-D." Although the film version of The Lord of the Rings was a massive worldwide success, getting J.R.R. Tolkien's prequel, The Hobbit, to the screen has proven much more difficult. With the rights finally sorted out after being tied up for years and a studio feud with Rings director Peter Jackson resolved, the project finally began moving forward in 2008—only to be stalled this year by the looming collapse of MGM, one of the two companies financing the production, should it fail to find a way out of its $4 billion debt.

Comic Book Movie has an inside source that says Fox wants to get Bruce Willis to play Ben Grimm in the new Fantastic Four reboot. Since most people seemed to hate the rubber costume that was used previously, the studio has decided to turn this version of The Thing into a CGI character. As a result, if Willis does end up taking the job, he'll mostly just be doing voice-over work.
