Endlich entdeckt die Serie, wie viel Spaß man mit ungewöhnlichen Nebendarstellern haben kann: Die Q outen sich als Liebhaber patriotischer Rollenspielphantasien, Kes ist von einen schizoiden Schlafwandler besessen und erstmals sehen wir anschaulich, wie sich die schlechten Drehbücher virusartig über die Voyager ausbreiten. Toll sind die heutigen 3 Geschichten wirklich nicht, aber immerhin so schlecht, dass ich sie 13 Jahre lang nicht vergessen konnte. – Oh Gott! Meint ihr, ich werde es noch schaffen, wenn ich auch so alt wie mein Redaktionskollege Gerd Günther Hoffmann...

Die erste Episode von "Der Boon 2" lässt uns nostalgisch auf jenen verhängnisvollen Abend zurückkehren, an dem die ersten Spielepackungen ihren neuen Besitzer fanden.

Zur Detail-Ansicht...Duncan Jones won himself a lot of fans with his independent sci-fi movie Moon, and those fans are really curious to see what his next movie, Source Code, is going to look like. Well, here's your first grainy glimpse of the film, courtesy of a scanned image from an upcoming issue of Empire magazine that's making its way around the Internet.

Zur Detail-Ansicht...Whoa! Coming Soon unearthed a trove of concept art by comic artist Jock and Andy Diggle for Peter Berg's Dune movie that will never be. Pierre Morel took over as director after Berg left the project, and Morel's going to do his own thing, so sadly this gorgeous art will go unused.

Der saarländische Erfolgsautor Dirk van den Boom, der seiner Erfolge zum Trotz immer noch in einem kleinen SciFi Genre-Verlag seine Bücher hausbringt , hat mir seinem ersten Roman zum Sechsteiler „Kaiserkrieger“ die 1000er Marke geknackt.
